Founded in 1995, the President’s Scholars Program continues to attract California’s highest academically achieving students with an unparalleled scholarship package. The prestige of the President’s Scholars Program has helped accelerate the university’s steady rise in national higher-education rankings. Moreover, President’s Scholars help raise the bar in the classrooms, laboratories, playing fields, etc. for the general student population and for faculty and staff. The result is a more diverse and dynamic university that produces leaders capable of handling the challenges of a complex and ever-changing world.
