What is "Show your love for the BEACH" day?
Show your love for the Beach is a fundraising drive that will give all members of the Beach family a special opportunity to show their love for the Beach and to come together as a community to support students and areas of greatest need on campus.
When is Show your love for the Beach day?
Show your love for the Beach Day will be on February 11, 2021 from 12:00 am PDT and end on February 12th at 11:59 pm PDT.
How can I make a donation?
Show you love for the BEACH is an online campaign. However, you will have the option to:
1. Mail in your payment by February 12th to:

2. Call our Beach Fund number at (562) 985– 5294.
We are working remotely so please leave a message and we will return your call.
Why should I participate?
Our goal is not only to raise much-needed funds but also to strengthen alumni, student, and volunteer engagement (“Beach Love”) and to promote the culture of giving on campus.
How do I spread the word?
We need YOUR help to make it successful!
Becoming a #LoveLB Ambassador is a great way to get involved and help spread the word!
Spreading the word about your love for CSULB is key to making our campaign a success, so share your love of the BEACH to your friends, colleagues and anyone who would be interested in supporting student success. We encourage you to share early and often through your social and personal networks, and especially throughout February 12th!
What areas can I support?
This year, we are highlighting Beach Fund (general unrestricted), and gifts to each college. However, you will have a wide variety of additional areas to select from when you click GIVE NOW – all gifts made during this time are deeply appreciated and will count towards our Show Your Love For the BEACH total.
Is it safe to make a gift online?
Absolutely! We take significant measures to ensure that all donor information is safe and secure.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! The 49er Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All philanthropic contributions to the The Beach are tax-deductible as prescribed by law. You will receive a receipt shortly after you make your gift.
Who do I contact with additional questions?

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
Yes! We will send you a receipt for your contribution shortly after you make your gift.

Are international donations accepted?
