There are so many reasons to love CSULB! Our beautiful campus, our top faculty, our exciting and diverse majors are just a few reasons that we can think of. Don't just take our word, every year we continue to rack up awards and accomplishments that set us apart from other universities across the US.

- No. 1 Men’s Volleyball Team in Nation & Back-to-Back NCAA National Championships (Beach Athletics, NCAA 2018-2019)
- No. 3 in Nation for Awarding Bachelor’s Degrees to Underrepresented Minorities(Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Dec. 2019)
We can not accomplish these great achievements with out help from our alumni, friends and community that continue to support our efforts. The time I spent on the CSULB Campus was one of the high points of my life. I was on the Dean's List and continued my thirst for learning throughout my life. One of the most vital lessons I took with me as I embarked on an amazing journey was how to think critically. I live in Western Washington State and tonight, it's 34 degrees and snowing. I love the Beach for a variety of reasons, but the main reason is because the Beach set me up for success in my future professional career. The professors and faculty are top-notch and provided a high-quality education. Through my extracurricular leadership positions in an array of on-campus clubs and associations, I grew as an individual and truly learned the power of service. I am proud to be a member of the Beach Alumni community and to be able to give back to the university as a mentor to others.
