Why do you LOVE the Beach?

The time I spent on the CSULB Campus was one of the high points of my life. I was on the Dean's List and continued my thirst for learning throughout my life. One of the most vital lessons I took with me as I embarked on an amazing journey was how to think critically. I live in Western Washington State and tonight, it's 34 degrees and snowing. I'm homesick for the beautiful lifestyle of Southern California. - ElsaMarie '73

I love the Beach for a variety of reasons, but the main reason is because the Beach set me up for success in my future professional career. The professors and faculty are top-notch and provided a high-quality education. Through my extracurricular leadership positions in an array of on-campus clubs and associations, I grew as an individual and truly learned the power of service. I am proud to be a member of the Beach Alumni community and to be able to give back to the university as a mentor to others. I owe the Beach a debt of gratitude for leading me to my current employer and for making me into the person I am today. – Danielle '08
