Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden 45th Anniversary
The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden first opened its gates in April 1981, inspired by Lorraine Miller Collins’ vision of creating a peaceful space for nature and meditation in honor of her late husband, Earl Burns Miller.
Today, 45 years later, the Garden continues to thrive as a treasured gem in the Long Beach community because of supporters like you!
As we celebrate this milestone throughout 2026 with special events, workshops, and our signature Sapphire Spectacular, we invite you to be part of the Garden’s next chapter.
Your support helps preserve this outdoor museum, care for its living collections, and ensure the Garden remains open and accessible for all to enjoy. With your donation, the Garden will continue to bloom for generations to come and shine as a sparkling jewel in the Long Beach community
