Graduate Studies supports all bachelors-to-masters (EDGE), post-baccalaureate certificate, credential, and graduate degree programs designed for both full-time and part-time students. CSULB has over 5,500 graduate students across its 104 master’s degree programs, 45 credential programs, 14 post-baccalaureate certificates, 5 doctoral programs, and 17 EDGE programs.
By supporting Graduate Studies, you can fund the:
- Graduate Fellowship: Provides one semester or one year tuition to master’s and doctoral students who contribute to the public good in their field of study either via scholarship, research, and creative efforts or via active engagement in programs or activities.
- Graduate Travel Fellowship: The Graduate Travel Fellowship provides up to $1,000 to CSULB graduate/post-baccalaureate students to defray the cost of attending an academic or professional conference.
- GradMentor Program: The program pairs incoming graduate students with second- or third-year graduate students. Mentors provide guidance, help navigate challenges, and recognize opportunities, while mentees receive resources to develop a sense of belonging in graduate school.
- The Graduate Center: CSULB’s "one-stop-shop" resource center for current and prospective graduate students. The GC guides CSULB graduate and undergraduate students and alumni who are interested in graduate school; and prospective students applying to CSULB programs.
- GradSlam: Hosted by the Graduate Center, GradSlam is a campus-wide competition for the best 3-minute (or shorter) graduate student research presentation.
- Graduate Student Events & Workshops: The Graduate Center provides graduate students with workshops and events (including networking, résumé writing, and the Writing Retreat) - all of which directly support CSULB master's and doctoral students.
Thank you for supporting the Graduate Studies’ vision to empower the next generation of leaders to transform themselves and their communities during Beach Spring Day of Giving!
