California State University Long Beach's annual Animation Showcase 'Double Exposure' is where we offer students an opportunity to share their films and portfolios with industry professionals, paving a path to their future careers. This event is an incredible opportunity for our student artists to debut their work for the first time to the world! The showcase celebrates their work and offers many notable figures from the film & television industry the first look at our diverse work.
Why do we need your help?
This is a student-run event. CSULB is a public school and we often run into the budgetary constraints. BUT that NEVER stops us from pursuing our dreams!! With just over 10 years of rather a short history, we are just beginning to build a reputation for our animation program, and determined to create a legacy attached to CSULB’s School of Art. We want to show what we have accomplished and what we are capable of growing into. Your donations will make our dreams come true!
This year, we are very excited to host the CSULB’s Double Exposure 2020 event at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Your contributions will help cover the costs of theater rental, AV fees, outsourced sound mixing, catering and other event preparation fees such as promotional materials. For that end, we are looking to raise $2,186.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the event has been postponed to a later time, when we can safely meet together to celebrate our students' achievements altogether in person. But we are going strong! We continue to monitor the situation while working hard to showcase better quality of work!
Your Impact
This fundraising campaign provides a channel for students to showcase many original artwork and films to the industry and debut themselves as professional artists. With your help, the passionate students of CSULB will be able to show off their hard work to the professionals in the Animation field and YOU can be directly a part of our legacy!
